Timofey Minkevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Valentin Eremeenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pakhom Safronov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Paulenia in the 14th minute of play. Aleksandr Yarik kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Denis Paulenia struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Pakhom Safronov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lepel. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Denis Paulenia came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Lepel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Paulenia couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Molodechno's goalkeeper Pakhom Safronov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimir Punko. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Eremeenko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Denis Paulenia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With his leg Pakhom Safronov managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Lepel's Kazimir Punko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Ivan Krylov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Eremeenko was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Lepel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
