Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Timur Eleseev kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Vladimir Takushevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihas Degtiarev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lameiko in the 4th minute of play forced Grodno's goalkeeper Mihas Degtiarev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Lameiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Juljan Pankavets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Juras Davidovich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juras Davidovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Eleseev in the 15th minute of play. Timur Eleseev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juras Davidovich having to interfere. Boris Korzun hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Grodno's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Lameiko came free, but Mihas Degtiarev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grodno's Valery Esipenko got a free kick in the 37th minute. Timur Eleseev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juras Davidovich having to interfere. With a little luck, Zhlobin's Juras Davidovich got control of the ball when Juljan Pankavets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zhlobin's Viktor Kolkin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Vladimir Lameiko made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Grodno defense, Vladimir Takushevich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihas Degtiarev. The Grodno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihas Degtiarev should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Zhlobin got a freekick which was hit by Anatoly Tretyakov. In the 63rd minute Juljan Pankavets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juras Davidovich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Lameiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mihas Degtiarev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Valery Esipenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihas Degtiarev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Lameiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Grodno's goalkeeper Mihas Degtiarev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Takushevich. Vladimir Lameiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihas Degtiarev having to interfere. Zhlobin's Juras Davidovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juljan Pankavets in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
