Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) NovoPolotsk's Zahar Lapov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Zahar Lapov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikola Hleb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zahar Sinkevich during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zahar Sinkevich kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. NovoPolotsk's Oles Kuzmich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save NovoPolotsk from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Petr Ivashenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rechitsa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 17 played minutes Rechitsa got a freekick which was hit by Zahar Sinkevich. NovoPolotsk's Vyacheslav Malinovsky couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rechitsa. Petr Ivashenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zahar Lapov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mikola Hleb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Rechitsa's Vladimir Panov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Rechitsa's Vladimir Panov got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Nester Voronov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rechitsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NovoPolotsk the free kick. After 42 played minutes Rechitsa got a freekick which was hit by Nester Voronov. Liavon Palferov struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mikola Hleb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NovoPolotsk. Mikola Hleb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liavon Palferov in the 45th minute of play. Zahar Sinkevich was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Zahar Sinkevich hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. 49 minutes into the match, Rechitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Liavon Palferov came free, but Mikola Hleb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
Petr Ivashenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Petr Ivashenko came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rechitsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petr Ivashenko couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Nester Voronov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rechitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nester Voronov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oles Kuzmich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petr Ivashenko's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Liavon Palferov from a close distance when the talented Mikola Hleb managed to make a qualified save. Rechitsa's players were relieved. A collision led to Rechitsa getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vladimir Panov hit a great ball. Zahar Lapov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikola Hleb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Mikola Hleb was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Zahar Lapov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zahar Lapov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Liavon Palferov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NovoPolotsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liavon Palferov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zahar Lapov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikola Hleb having to interfere. Petr Ivashenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oles Kuzmich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Rechitsa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
