In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orsha's goalkeeper Viktor Mikulenko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mateush Egorov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Mikulenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Orsha's Anton Paplavsky got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the match, Danila Falevich tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viktor Mikulenko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 12th minute, Mateush Egorov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Danila Falevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateush Egorov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Mikulenko having to make a save. In the 18th match minute, Orsha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taras Khrol to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Mikulenko came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zhodino's Roman Ezhov. But to his dismay, Roman Ezhov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Roman Ezhov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zhodino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orsha the free kick. Boris Radkevich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrey Ignatkevich. Zhodino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Zhodino booed when Orsha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Filich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Vyacheslav Nikolaev made a precise shot to the right of Andrey Ignatkevich. Zhodino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 37th minute Danila Falevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Mikulenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mateush Egorov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danila Falevich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Mikulenko having to make a save. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danila Falevich to make the kick off. Viktor Mikulenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateush Egorov in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Orsha's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Gorbat came free, but Viktor Mikulenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
