The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 72nd match minute, Borisov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Sapojnikov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Brest's Stanislav Urbanchyk got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leonid Sapojnikov charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonid Sapojnikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Borisov got a freekick which was hit by Leonid Sapojnikov. Miraslav Perevozkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valentin Petrashkevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrey Rebryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Nazar Sergeev could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Valentin Petrashkevich however easily saved by the left post. Zenon Samulevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Denis Makarsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
