Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Borisov's Radislav Chaban got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Soligorsk's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Birukov came free, but Cheslav Lexin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Borisov's Vladislav Birukov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cheslav Lexin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Branislav Yanchyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Karankevich in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Borisov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marat Stasevich to maneuver through the defense. When Viktor Karankevich came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Soligorsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Karankevich couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Viktor Karankevich recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Branislav Yanchyk. Viktor Karankevich showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Vladislav Birukov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borisov's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladislav Birukov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borisov's Branislav Yanchyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Karankevich in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radislav Chaban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladislav Birukov got free with Cheslav Lexin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Viktor Karankevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Yanchyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Soligorsk got a freekick which was hit by Stepan Ishyk. After a defensive mix-up in Soligorsk's zone, Vladislav Birukov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheslav Lexin came out of the goal and Vladislav Birukov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Soligorsk's Cheslav Lexin got control of the ball when Vladislav Birukov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladislav Birukov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheslav Lexin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Branislav Yanchyk had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Vladimir Vlasov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 86th minute, Vladimir Vlasov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soligorsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 91st minute, Vladimir Vlasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Kasperovich struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Branislav Yanchyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soligorsk. Borisov's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Soligorsk had won, even though Borisov had held more of the ball.
