After 3 minutes, Vadim Yakubenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bobruisk and the Soligorsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Soligorsk booed when Bobruisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vadim Yakubenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bobruisk's zone, Viktor Karankevich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genady Bloh came out of the goal and Viktor Karankevich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantin Kasperovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignat Egorov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Kasperovich in the 24th minute of play forced Bobruisk's goalkeeper Genady Bloh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genady Bloh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstantin Kasperovich's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Viktor Karankevich struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Genady Bloh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soligorsk. Bobruisk's Genady Bloh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Kasperovich in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Vladimir Vlasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soligorsk's Cheslav Lexin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Soligorsk from getting a goal against them. Vyacheslav Afanasev hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Bobruisk's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Kasperovich came free, but Genady Bloh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Konstantin Kasperovich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Genady Bloh made a huge save. In the 65th minute Kastus Antonenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheslav Lexin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ignat Egorov made a precise shot to the right of Cheslav Lexin. Soligorsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Genady Bloh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Karankevich, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Viktor Karankevich kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Apanas Trojan came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Bobruisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apanas Trojan couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Soligorsk's Vladimir Vlasov tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Konstantin Kasperovich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vadim Yakubenko hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes, Soligorsk's Vladimir Vlasov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genady Bloh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soligorsk reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Karankevich in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genady Bloh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd match minute, Bobruisk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kastus Antonenko to maneuver through the defense.
