Verdikal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rayko Panekov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 46th match minute, Tschibaowzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetlozar Ivchev to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Evgeni Antonov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdikal's supporters rose to their feet, but Evgeni Antonov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Momchil Rangelov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yavor Stamenov was the one to do the kick off. Verdikal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Barzov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tschibaowzi's Momchil Rangelov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simeon Svilarski in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Tschibaowzi's goal looked a bit too open when Evgeni Antonov came free, but Momchil Rangelov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verdikal's Naycho Manchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavor Stamenov in the 92nd minute of play. Evgeni Antonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Momchil Rangelov having to interfere.
