The referee ignored CSKA Ganchevo's protests and gave Radomir Dundarov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, CSKA Ganchevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Dundarov to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Ganchevo's zone, Metodi Tuechki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simeon Batzarov came out of the goal and Metodi Tuechki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CSKA Ganchevo's Stoyan Anatkov got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Stoyan Anatkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslav Belishki. Nikoevtsi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stoyan Anatkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Simeon Batzarov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metodi Tuechki's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Samuil Azmanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes CSKA Ganchevo got a freekick which was hit by Mircho Krusharov. When Nikoevtsi's Metodi Tuechki in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Metodi Tuechki to strike the kick off in the second half. Simeon Batzarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kliment Amiorkov in the 68th minute of play. CSKA Ganchevo's Stoyan Anatkov got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samuil Azmanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomir Dundarov was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Nikoevtsi booed when CSKA Ganchevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Dundarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSKA Ganchevo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Metodi Tuechki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bozhin Paraskevov during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nikoevtsi getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bozhin Paraskevov hit a great ball. The CSKA Ganchevo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nikoevtsi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
