After 2 played minutes, Nikoevtsi's Ivan Zafirov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Súrmadzhiev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nikoevtsi reached it. Alexander Milakiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Miroslav Belishki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikoevtsi's Miroslav Belishki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tihomir Dipchev in the 8th minute of play. Miroslav Belishki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tihomir Dipchev went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the game, Metodi Tuechki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Angel Súrmadzhiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Súrmadzhiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metodi Tuechki's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Nikoevtsi's Miroslav Belishki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Nikoevtsi from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tihomir Dipchev in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Belishki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bozhidar Zvúncharov fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nikoevtsi's protests and gave Bozhidar Zvúncharov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Bozhidar Zvúncharov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tihomir Dipchev in the 37th minute of play forced Nikoevtsi's goalkeeper Miroslav Belishki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alexander Milakiev came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Dripka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Milakiev couldn't finish the play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tihomir Dipchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nikoevtsi's Miroslav Belishki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tihomir Dipchev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dripka's supporters rose to their feet, but Tihomir Dipchev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Belishki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tihomir Dipchev came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Dripka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tihomir Dipchev couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alexander Milakiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dripka's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Milakiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Belishki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miroslav Belishki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tihomir Dipchev in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nikoevtsi's zone, Alexander Milakiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Belishki came out of the goal and Alexander Milakiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dripka's Alexander Milakiev got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Milakiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Belishki having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Dripka's Tihomir Dipchev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslav Belishki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alexander Milakiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslav Belishki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trifon Panov in the 75th minute of play forced Nikoevtsi's goalkeeper Miroslav Belishki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Milakiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Miroslav Belishki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexi Karamalkov's late challenge caught a Dripka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexi Karamalkov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dripka booed when Nikoevtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexi Karamalkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miroslav Belishki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Milakiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Tihomir Dipchev came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Dripka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tihomir Dipchev couldn't finish the play. If Tihomir Dipchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
