Simeon Batzarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Milakiev in the 7th minute of the match. One of Dripka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CSKA Ganchevo:s goal. Simeon Batzarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tihomir Dipchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mircho Krusharov hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, CSKA Ganchevo's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Milakiev came free, but Simeon Batzarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Alexander Milakiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dripka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Dripka's Gergin Manov got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Milakiev in the 31st minute of play forced CSKA Ganchevo's goalkeeper Simeon Batzarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Ganchevo's zone, Tihomir Dipchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simeon Batzarov came out of the goal and Tihomir Dipchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tihomir Dipchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Simeon Batzarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Súrmadzhiev made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Samuil Azmanov sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stoyan Anatkov was the one to do the kick off. Dripka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
