Lyudmil Sertov hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Bilyan Petzev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Krasen Púchev came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Real Madrid CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krasen Púchev couldn't finish the play. Levent Bayrakov hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Real Madrid CF's Mincho Lachkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Zamfirov in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match, Serafim Zamfirov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mincho Lachkov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute Severin Dúnkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoli Panushev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafim Zamfirov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mincho Lachkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panichar's Varban Haracherov got a free kick in the 69th minute. Anatoli Panushev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severin Dúnkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mincho Lachkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Real Madrid CF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vitomir Kushlev hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Panichar's Haralampi Andreychev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mincho Lachkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Zamfirov in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Serafim Zamfirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mincho Lachkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Severin Dúnkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anatoli Panushev. Panichar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severin Dúnkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
