Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Saraniowo's Stanko Kapurdov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, FC Imrenler's goal looked a bit too open when Stanko Kapurdov came free, but Genadi Zhizhanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanko Kapurdov in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genadi Zhizhanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanko Kapurdov in the 13th minute of play forced FC Imrenler's goalkeeper Genadi Zhizhanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute FC Saraniowo were awarded a corner. Veselin Masov went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Saraniowo's corner Veselin Masov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genadi Zhizhanov quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Evlogi Deyanov notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Saraniowo's Stoyadin Klyashev. Stoyadin Klyashev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Bozhidar Buzin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genadi Zhizhanov came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Saraniowo's Emiliyan Milenkov. But to his dismay, Emiliyan Milenkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Tencho Zhalov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Imrenler's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Saraniowo the free kick. The supporters of FC Saraniowo booed when FC Imrenler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tencho Zhalov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Rusi Modrev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes of play, FC Saraniowo's Emiliyan Milenkov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genadi Zhizhanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC Imrenler defense, Emiliyan Milenkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genadi Zhizhanov. The FC Imrenler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genadi Zhizhanov should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Cholpanov was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanko Kapurdov in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Imrenler's goalkeeper Genadi Zhizhanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genadi Zhizhanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliyan Milenkov in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, Orlin Dyulgerov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanko Kapurdov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genadi Zhizhanov came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanko Kapurdov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 56th minute. Marian Cholpanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliyan Milenkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Genadi Zhizhanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stoyadin Klyashev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Cholpanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evlogi Deyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stoyadin Klyashev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute FC Saraniowo were awarded a corner. Veselin Masov went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Saraniowo's Sergey Tosev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genadi Zhizhanov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Imrenler's Marian Cholpanov got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evlogi Deyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stoyadin Klyashev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Stanko Kapurdov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Genadi Zhizhanov, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Saraniowo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
