Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Ninchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vidyo Gadzhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Ignatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Ninchev came free, but Vidyo Gadzhev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidyo Gadzhev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rusi Ignatov's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Rusi Ignatov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Glawazi got a freekick which was hit by Svilen Kaymakanov. If Naycho Alexov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vidyo Gadzhev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rusi Ignatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Lokomotiv Stara Zagora players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glawazi were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naycho Alexov was the one to do the kick off. Anzhelo Solarov hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Botyo Bizhev might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlado Genov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Botyo Bizhev ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Lokomotiv Stara Zagora getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Spiridon Kitev hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's Bratan Marangozov got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Rusi Ignatov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vidyo Gadzhev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nasko Papukchiev in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Glawazi's Rusi Ignatov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidyo Gadzhev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glawazi's Vlado Genov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naycho Alexov in the 80th minute of play. Svetlozar Gemedzhiev's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svetlozar Gemedzhiev helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Glawazi getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Svetlozar Gemedzhiev hit a great ball. Stoyan Vretenarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Botyo Bizhev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vlado Genov. Glawazi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's goalkeeper Vidyo Gadzhev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rusi Ignatov. In the 91st minute Naycho Alexov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlado Genov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's goalkeeper Vidyo Gadzhev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Glawazi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
