Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dragan Kindekov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Todor Lambrev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigor Pindev in the 7th minute. Akademik Sofia's Todor Lambrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragan Kindekov in the 8th minute of play. Todor Lambrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragan Kindekov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akademik Sofia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigor Pindev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Iabalkovo's Dragan Kindekov in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akademik Sofia's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Grigor Sedlarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akademik Sofia's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigor Sedlarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilcho Karamanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Todor Lambrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Novakov in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Akademik Sofia getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bozhin Bashliyski hit a great ball. Dragan Kindekov struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Todor Lambrev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iabalkovo. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Grigor Pindev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iabalkovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigor Pindev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 37th minute, Grigor Pindev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Iabalkovo fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Iabalkovo's Dragan Kindekov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Akademik Sofia's Todor Lambrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragan Kindekov in the 44th minute of play. Dragan Kindekov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lilcho Belinski to strike the kick off in the second half. Dragan Kindekov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Todor Lambrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evlogi Sidov hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Grigor Sedlarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Iabalkovo got a freekick which was hit by Diyan Borovinov. In the 66th minute of the match Gergin Stamatov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Todor Lambrev skillfully saved the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Iabalkovo's goalkeeper Ilcho Karamanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigor Sedlarski. Grigor Pindev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Grigor Pindev came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Iabalkovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigor Pindev couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigor Sedlarski got free with Ilcho Karamanov in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Todor Lambrev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragan Kindekov in the 80th minute of the match. Todor Lambrev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragan Kindekov's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Rafail Kerekov's shot from long distance in the 84th minute was not bad at all, but Iabalkovo's Ilcho Karamanov knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. If Grigor Pindev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilcho Karamanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valkan Chiplakov in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragan Kindekov in the 93rd minute of play forced Akademik Sofia's goalkeeper Todor Lambrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Grigor Pindev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Todor Lambrev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Iabalkovo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
