Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stayko Stoichkov started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sevdalin Leyarski in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sava Lischev saved CSKA Serdar from getting behind. If Stayko Stoichkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sevdalin Leyarski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Iliya Shikalanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Serdar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iliya Shikalanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Frangov was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Prodan Rusev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prodan Rusev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. FC Smilowzi's Yuri Frangov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Smilowzi from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Stayko Stoichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sava Lischev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Paun Kashkanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sava Lischev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stayko Stoichkov in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, CSKA Serdar's Bozhidar Alipiev got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Gavril Panagonov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Serdar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Smilowzi the free kick. After 37 played minutes CSKA Serdar got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Panagonov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stayko Stoichkov in the 39th minute of play forced CSKA Serdar's goalkeeper Sava Lischev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prodan Rusevs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Yuri Frangov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Prodan Rusev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prodan Rusev to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prodan Rusev in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Smilowzi's goalkeeper Yuri Frangov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iliya Shikalanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 played minutes CSKA Serdar got a freekick which was hit by Bozhidar Alipiev. A collision led to FC Smilowzi getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Stayko Dzhordzhilov hit a great ball. Sevdalin Leyarski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sava Lischev firmly grabbed it by the left post. CSKA Serdar's Sava Lischev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Serdar from getting a goal against them. Sava Lischev made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Sevdalin Leyarski sent off a good shot on target. Stayko Stoichkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sava Lischev having to interfere. When Sevdalin Leyarski fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Smilowzi's protests and gave Sevdalin Leyarski a yellow card for diving instead. Sevdalin Leyarski kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Iliya Shikalanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Yuri Frangov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuri Frangov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iliya Shikalanov in the 92nd minute of the match. FC Smilowzi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
