Branimir Mantovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milcho Bakalov went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Petko Igov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Preslav Dimiev was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Prokopi Kostakiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branimir Mantovski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Apostol Koychev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Branimir Mantovski. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Orlin Bozhikov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Preslav Dimiev. CSKA Pcelnik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Chudomir Yanushev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, CSKA Pcelnik's Nesho Mihalchev seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nesho Mihalchev the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CSKA Pcelnik protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nesho Mihalchev had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 28th minute, one of CSKA Pcelnik:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CSKA Pcelnik. After a rather tough play, CSKA Pcelnik's Stoycho Tihov got a free kick in the 38th minute. 48 minutes into the match, CSKA Pcelnik's goal looked a bit too open when Chudomir Yanushev came free, but Preslav Dimiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Petko Igov in the 56th minute of play forced CSKA Pcelnik's goalkeeper Preslav Dimiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Preslav Dimiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petko Igov in the 63rd minute of play. When Bocho Kúsmetski fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Pcelnik's protests and gave Bocho Kúsmetski a yellow card for diving instead. CSKA Pcelnik's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
