Rafail Vunov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Bezmer's zone, Antón Slávik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krasen Dungarov came out of the goal and Antón Slávik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Krasen Dungarov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Sendov went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sofia-CitY's Iliyan Panev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Vunov in the 21st minute of play. If Elenko Kazasov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iliyan Panev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elenko Kazasov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Furtok during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Janusz Furtok kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Rafail Vunov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iliyan Panev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elenko Kazasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iliyan Panev having to interfere. Janusz Furtok was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Janusz Furtok hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Elenko Kazasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iliyan Panev having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Marian Sendov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafail Vunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafail Vunov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iliyan Panev having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafail Vunov to make the kick off. If Rafail Vunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Sofia-CitY got a freekick which was hit by Antón Slávik. In the 63rd minute, Rafail Vunov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stancho Zerkov kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When Kamen Obretenov fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Bezmer's protests and gave Kamen Obretenov a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CSKA Bezmer! The referee gave Sofia-CitY a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antón Slávik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CSKA Bezmer's Krasen Dungarov. 3-0. When Veliko Dambov came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sofia-CitY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veliko Dambov couldn't finish the play. Kamen Obretenov hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Sofia-CitY's goalkeeper Iliyan Panev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elenko Kazasov. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Galabin Strahinov during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sofia-CitY getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Galabin Strahinov hit a great ball. The Sofia-CitY support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
