But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vesko Tupankov couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Belcho Tatarov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Belovitsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bodzharu the free kick. After 11 played minutes FC Belovitsa got a freekick which was hit by Belcho Tatarov. Delyan Boborachki struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Radko Shiyakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bodzharu. Samuil Bangeev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tihomir Kalaydzhiyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Presiyan Branev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Vesko Tupankov put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tihomir Kalaydzhiyski. Tihomir Kalaydzhiyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuil Bangeev, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Bodzharu's goal looked a bit too open when Samuil Bangeev came free, but Tihomir Kalaydzhiyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Belovitsa's Kubrat Ogoyski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Bodzharu. After a defensive mix-up in FC Belovitsa's zone, Delyan Boborachki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radko Shiyakov came out of the goal and Delyan Boborachki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radko Shiyakov made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Dragomir Trendafilov sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuil Bangeev to make the kick off. FC Belovitsa's Radko Shiyakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delyan Boborachki in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Bodzharu's Tihomir Kalaydzhiyski got control of the ball when Vesko Tupankov tried to sneak it across the goal line. When FC Belovitsa's Samuil Bangeev in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Delyan Boborachki fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bodzharu's protests and gave Delyan Boborachki a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Bodzharu's Delyan Boborachki got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tihomir Kalaydzhiyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuil Bangeev in the 94th minute of play.
