Martin Stiptzarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mincho Súrchadzhiev struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Pavlin Goranov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Berkovitsa. Mincho Súrchadzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, CSKA Berkovitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deyan Vidinski to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Bayan Kandov managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Dragomanite's Vasil Fetvadzhiev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mincho Súrchadzhiev made a kick off. Vasil Fetvadzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bozhko Topchiev fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Berkovitsa's protests and gave Bozhko Topchiev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CSKA Berkovitsa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bozhko Topchiev hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, CSKA Berkovitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Vasil Fetvadzhiev came free, but Bayan Kandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anko Zhadalov scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayan Kandov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anko Zhadalov in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayan Kandov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasil Fetvadzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayan Kandov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anko Zhadalov in the 87th minute of play forced CSKA Berkovitsa's goalkeeper Bayan Kandov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anko Zhadalov came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Dragomanite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anko Zhadalov couldn't finish the play. If Anko Zhadalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayan Kandov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anko Zhadalov in the 96th minute of the match.
