The supporters of Drjanovo booed when Sanoshene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grisha Hristanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Pancho Martinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Blagoy Gotov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. Blagoy Gotov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Belalov having to interfere. Sanoshene's Todor Belalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoimen Zubev in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute Stoimen Zubev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todor Belalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanyo Búrzev got free with Zapryan Dragostinov in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blagoy Gotov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Belalov having to interfere. Zapryan Dragostinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evlogi Dzhatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evlogi Dzhatov to strike the kick off in the second half. Blagoy Gotov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blagoy Gotov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Todor Belalov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sanoshene's Todor Belalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoimen Zubev in the 58th minute of play. Todor Belalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoimen Zubev in the 62nd minute of the match. Todor Belalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stoimen Zubev in the 63rd minute of play. Evlogi Dzhatov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zapryan Dragostinov having to interfere. Stoimen Zubev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sanoshene's zone, Stoimen Zubev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Todor Belalov came out of the goal and Stoimen Zubev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Sanoshene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiril Gadzhanov to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Stanyo Búrzev made a precise shot to the right of Zapryan Dragostinov. Drjanovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Blagoy Gotov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drjanovo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
