The audience was convinced that Zahari Gushterov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Totyo Varchev was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When Nedko Hristoskov fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Anastschik's protests and gave Nedko Hristoskov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Nedko Hristoskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignat Lyatov hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Svetlin Zlatinov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornicheto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Denimir Karadimov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Anastschik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ornicheto the free kick. If Chudomir Dzhadzhev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetlin Zlatinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Totyo Varchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahari Gushterov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Ornicheto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svetlin Zlatinov was the one to do the kick off. Vasko Ilchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetlin Zlatinov in the 51st minute of play. Zahari Gushterov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Svetlin Zlatinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Totyo Varchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zahari Gushterov's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Zahari Gushterov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Totyo Varchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Anastschik's Vasko Ilchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Anastschik from getting a goal against them. Svetlin Zlatinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vasko Ilchevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasko Ilchevski made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Chudomir Dzhadzhev sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ornicheto booed when FC Anastschik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoncho Geshtakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ornicheto's Zheko Púchev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Anastschik. After a rather tough play, FC Anastschik's Ancho Vidov got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Ornicheto's Zheko Púchev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ornicheto's Svetlin Zlatinov got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Chudomir Dzhadzhev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornicheto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chudomir Dzhadzhev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Svetlin Zlatinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ancho Vidov's late challenge caught a Ornicheto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ancho Vidov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Ancho Vidov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
