Vidyo Mesalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yulian Dashovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, FC Skef's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Trayko Sirakov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Branimir Karev came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Skef fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Branimir Karev couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milyo Milovski in the 9th minute of play forced Dolets's goalkeeper Vidyo Mesalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bone Nistorov might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidyo Mesalski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bone Nistorov ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Dolets's Tenyo Niklenov got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Milyo Milovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolets's Vidyo Mesalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Bone Nistorov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidyo Mesalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Milyo Milovski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dolets's Vidyo Mesalski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Branimir Karev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branimir Karev kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dolets's zone, Yulian Dashovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidyo Mesalski came out of the goal and Yulian Dashovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yulian Dashovski came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Skef fans jumped to their feet. Milyo Milovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vidyo Mesalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trayko Sirakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Asen Drakev made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Skef's Denko Balakov got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Skef's zone, Yakim Gologanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asen Drakev came out of the goal and Yakim Gologanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half FC Skef were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pantaley Tinchev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Trayko Sirakov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Asen Drakev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Tenyo Niklenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidyo Mesalski was a little too slow when Milyo Milovski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. Asen Drakev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyubcho Ranchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidyo Mesalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branimir Karev, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Yulian Dashovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vidyo Mesalski made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Toncho Atkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th match minute, Dolets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tenyo Niklenov to maneuver through the defense. Yulian Dashovski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Vidyo Mesalski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ivo Gerchev made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Skef's Yulian Dashovski. Dolets's Vidyo Mesalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branimir Karev in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC Skef left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dolets.
