Bilyan Matzev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lulcho Velkovski having to interfere. In the 11th play minute Sokol Azmanov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lulcho Velkovski. 1-0. Lulcho Velkovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilyan Matzev in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Svetoslav Staynov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Stozher and the Stoyanovo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Stoyanovo booed when FC Stozher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetoslav Staynov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Bilyan Matzev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoyanovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bilyan Matzev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Stoyanovo booed when FC Stozher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pantaley Smilenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sokol Azmanov struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lulcho Velkovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoyanovo. Lulcho Velkovski made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sokol Azmanov sent off a good shot on target. Mavrudi Topuzliev took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toshko Michkov. Toshko Michkov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 30 played minutes Stoyanovo got a freekick which was hit by Sokol Azmanov. Mavrudi Topuzliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mavrudi Topuzliev in the 36th minute of play forced Stoyanovo's goalkeeper Toshko Michkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Sokol Azmanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sokol Azmanov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lulcho Velkovski. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slavcho Svilarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toshko Michkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slavcho Svilarski in the 54th minute. If Slavcho Svilarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Stozher booed when Stoyanovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stayko Strigachev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toshko Michkov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Doncho Klashnov. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Stozher's goalkeeper Lulcho Velkovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, FC Stozher's Slavcho Svilarski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Slavcho Svilarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Toshko Michkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, FC Stozher's Mavrudi Topuzliev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toshko Michkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sokol Azmanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lulcho Velkovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sokol Azmanov ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mavrudi Topuzliev got free with Toshko Michkov in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
