The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bilyan Matzev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlin Buhlev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Sokol Azmanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Orlin Buhlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yosif Birazov kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Sokol Azmanov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Sokol Azmanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Orlin Buhlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palamud Michurin's Vanyo Legomanov got a free kick in the 18th minute. Yosif Baykov, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 22nd minute Bilyan Matzev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlin Buhlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stayko Strigachevs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Orlin Buhlev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute, Sokol Azmanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stoyanovo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Bilyan Matzev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoyanovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilyan Matzev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlin Buhlev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute of the match, Bilyan Matzev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlin Buhlev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Vanko Nedev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Stoyanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Vanko Nedev came free, but Toshko Michkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bilyan Matzev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bilyan Matzev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlin Buhlev having to interfere. Yosif Birazov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toshko Michkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vanko Nedev, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Yosif Birazov might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toshko Michkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yosif Birazov ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Palamud Michurin's zone, Stayko Strigachev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlin Buhlev came out of the goal and Stayko Strigachev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toshko Michkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vanko Nedev in the 75th minute of play. If Bilyan Matzev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlin Buhlev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sokol Azmanov in the 82nd minute of the match. Sokol Azmanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Orlin Buhlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Bilyan Matzev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavey Palaveev lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Stoyanovo. Yosif Baykov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Orlin Buhlev. 3-0. Stoyanovo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
