Kalotintsi's Panayot Vaklinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kalotintsi from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zheko Ahmakov during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rostislav Stoimirov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Manchester United's Zlatan Doychev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Blagoy Gelkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Detelin Tyutyundzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panayot Vaklinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Velin Baranov in the 32nd minute. Detelin Tyutyundzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Blagoy Gelkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zlatan Doychev hit a great ball. Blagoy Gelkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iliya Futlev in the 52nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Velin Baranov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Detelin Tyutyundzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Detelin Tyutyundzhiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zlatan Doychev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blagoy Gelkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detelin Tyutyundzhiev in the 65th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Kalotintsi's Denimir Shindarski tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Blagoy Gelkov managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Kalotintsi's Kliment Tinchev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panayot Vaklinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velin Baranov in the 77th minute of play. Velin Baranov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panayot Vaklinov having to interfere. Panayot Vaklinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Doychev in the 92nd minute of play. If Kliment Tinchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
