The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ignat Túrpanov made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Omurtag Palazov however managed to control. 7 minutes into the match, Lyulin United's goal looked a bit too open when Doychin Barbolov came free, but Veselin Zaharinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ancho Ambov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kosta Serafimov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ancho Ambov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kosta Serafimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ancho Ambov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosta Serafimov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivaylo Hlebarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomir Nonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosta Serafimov having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Lyulin United's Yuri Vidulov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kosta Serafimov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivaylo Hlebarov got free with Kosta Serafimov in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radomir Nonov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Kosta Serafimov made a huge save. With a little luck, Tetevenska slivova's Kosta Serafimov got control of the ball when Radomir Nonov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasko Chavorski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Kosta Serafimov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ancho Ambov, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Omurtag Palazov fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tetevenska slivova's protests and gave Omurtag Palazov a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Tetevenska slivova got a freekick which was hit by Omurtag Palazov. Radomir Nonov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tetevenska slivova's Kosta Serafimov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Tetevenska slivova from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Radomir Nonov took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kosta Serafimov. Kosta Serafimov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Varban Tyankov in the 71st minute of play forced Lyulin United's goalkeeper Veselin Zaharinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veselin Zaharinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omurtag Palazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avgustin Radulov charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avgustin Radulov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Tetevenska slivova. Viktor Chotov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Veselin Zaharinov. 3-1. In the 83rd minute Yuri Vidulov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kosta Serafimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Nonov in the 85th minute of play forced Tetevenska slivova's goalkeeper Kosta Serafimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Doychin Barbolov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lyulin United booed when Tetevenska slivova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minko Kalaydzhiyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Vidulov in the 95th minute of play forced Tetevenska slivova's goalkeeper Kosta Serafimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tetevenska slivova's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
