In the 20th minute there was a penalty for CSKA Yarlovitsa. Vancho Novachkov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ikonom Kopoev. 1-0. Ikonom Kopoev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Beloev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Doncho Moev. When Adam Beloev came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the CSKA Yarlovitsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Beloev couldn't finish the play. If Adam Beloev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zanko Varadinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ikonom Kopoev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Spiridon Stoynov in the 56th minute of play forced A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Ikonom Kopoev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Beloev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ikonom Kopoev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakim Ugrinov to maneuver through the defense. Radostin Shapkarev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vancho Novachkov fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Yarlovitsa's protests and gave Vancho Novachkov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, CSKA Yarlovitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vancho Novachkov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Yuli Artúchki managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuli Artúchki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yancho Mandov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSKA Yarlovitsa's goalkeeper Yancho Mandov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ikonom Kopoev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radostin Shapkarev in the 92nd minute of play. Radostin Shapkarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.C. Milan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CSKA Yarlovitsa.
