The crowd rose to their feet as Evtim Yonkov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Totyo Bandzhov. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Yancho Dzhonov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Slavyanka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yancho Dzhonov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Penyo Koshtrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Totyo Bandzhov having to interfere. After 37 minutes CSKA Slavyanka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kostadin Eroteev who took care of the corner kick. Totyo Bandzhov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evtim Yonkov went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54th minute Evtim Yonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Totyo Bandzhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSKA Slavyanka's Totyo Bandzhov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evtim Yonkov in the 93rd minute of play. Totyo Bandzhov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evtim Yonkov in the 96th minute of the match. Evtim Yonkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Totyo Bandzhov having to interfere.
