FK CSKA TETOVO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manol Nikolov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Marrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levent Piralkov having to interfere. In the 26th minute Manol Nikolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Piralkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Chavdar Dikovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in FK CSKA TETOVO's zone, Chavdar Dikovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Hillerzeder came out of the goal and Chavdar Dikovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chavdar Dikovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chavdar Dikovski to make the kick off. Manol Nikolov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Levent Piralkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Stefan Gaydadzhiev fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Dirk Hillerzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chavdar Dikovski in the 81st minute of play. Dirk Hillerzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chavdar Dikovski in the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FK CSKA TETOVO defense, Chavdar Dikovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Hillerzeder. The FK CSKA TETOVO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Hillerzeder should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Trayko Mednikarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Hillerzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes FK CSKA TETOVO got a freekick which was hit by Anatoli Momov. Trayko Mednikarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Benkovsky OLE OLEOLEOLE were victorious despite being under pressure from FK CSKA TETOVO for much of the match.
