Vihren Tzvetev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Trayko Palov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vihren Tzvetev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdravko Chaushev in the 15th minute of play forced botev912's goalkeeper Trayko Palov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velizar Branski's late challenge caught a FC Khodzhinovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Velizar Branski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to botev912 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Velizar Branski hit a great ball. Zdravko Chaushev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vihren Tzvetev came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Khodzhinovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vihren Tzvetev couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Raycho Madanski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. botev912's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raycho Madanski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trayko Palov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vihren Tzvetev in the 44th minute of play. Vihren Tzvetev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trayko Palov having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raycho Madanski was the one to do the kick off. Vihren Tzvetev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vihren Tzvetev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Trayko Palov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bozhil Gerchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyudmil Benchev having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match, Zdravko Chaushev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Trayko Palov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vihren Tzvetev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Trayko Palov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vihren Tzvetev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Khodzhinovo booed when botev912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darin Milenkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in botev912's zone, Vihren Tzvetev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trayko Palov came out of the goal and Vihren Tzvetev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zdravko Chaushev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, botev912's Velizar Branski got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Zdravko Chaushev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but botev912's Trayko Palov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. botev912 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Khodzhinovo had controlled the match.
