Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo's Plamen Pisarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoto Deshov in the 3rd minute of play. Dragomir Metanov kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Plamen Pisarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoto Deshov in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilcho Strugarov in the 18th minute of play forced Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo's goalkeeper Plamen Pisarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dragomir Metanov hit a great ball. The supporters of Domishte booed when Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velislav Bezlov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo's Plamen Pisarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilcho Strugarov in the 27th minute of play. Tihomir Dechkov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stoyo Shanov. Yoto Deshov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Domishte's zone, Miladin Dargov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tihomir Dechkov came out of the goal and Miladin Dargov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yoto Deshov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Plamen Pisarov having to interfere. Lilcho Strugarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nayden Ugrinov to strike the kick off in the second half. Domishte's Yoto Deshov got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Dragomir Metanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Domishte got a freekick which was hit by Tomislav Kokalov. Lilcho Strugarov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Plamen Pisarov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yoto Deshov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Detelin Púpkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Domishte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo the free kick. In the 72nd minute, one of Domishte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Domishte. The referee gave Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Velislav Bezlov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Domishte's Tihomir Dechkov. 1-0. Tihomir Dechkov came out of the goal and Nayden Ugrinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yoto Deshov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Yoto Deshov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Plamen Pisarov. That made the score 1-1 in the 87 minute of play. Yoto Deshov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lilcho Strugarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domishte were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
