Aleko Vrachovski hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Milko Gazdov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of POPAY booed when FC Titscha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toma Futlev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Penyo Cheresharski made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Milko Gazdov sent off a good shot on target. When Branislav Solakov came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the POPAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Branislav Solakov couldn't finish the play. A collision led to POPAY getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lyuben Geranov hit a great ball. FC Titscha's Rosen Glushkov got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Titscha's Penyo Cheresharski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Titscha from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, POPAY's Huben Súbkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Penyo Cheresharski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Milko Gazdov managed to get in a good position for a shot. POPAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Milko Gazdov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Penyo Cheresharski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Titscha getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Aleko Vrachovski hit a great ball. Milko Gazdov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Penyo Cheresharski having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, POPAY's Milko Gazdov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Penyo Cheresharski. Penyo Cheresharski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 36th minute, Antoan Bankov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vladko Orozov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Titscha getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Toma Futlev hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Bogomil Hadzhinikolov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POPAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Titscha the free kick. In the 46th minute, one of POPAY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for POPAY. The referee gave FC Titscha a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hristofor Idakiev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of POPAY's Violet Popov. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milko Gazdov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Titscha's Rosen Glushkov got a free kick in the 60th minute. Violet Popov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosen Glushkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, POPAY's Violet Popov got control of the ball when Antoan Bankov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, FC Titscha's Antoan Bankov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Violet Popov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Branislav Solakov during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to POPAY getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Branislav Solakov hit a great ball. Violet Popov was a little too slow when Antoan Bankov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. Vladko Orozov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladko Orozov might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Penyo Cheresharski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladko Orozov ran back to his position shaking his head. POPAY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kuncho Kachakov in the 94th minute. After taking down the ball on POPAY's corner Rumen Oreshkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Penyo Cheresharski quite easily take care of the ball. POPAY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kuncho Kachakov in the 96th minute. The corner ended in Kuncho Kachakov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Titscha's Penyo Cheresharski did a great save. The FC Titscha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
