Milko Gazdov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalin Gúrdanov having to interfere. Radoy Chohadzhiev charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radoy Chohadzhiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Radoy Chohadzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogomil Hadzhinikolov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mihail Milovski, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. FC Kalowo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, POPAY's goalkeeper Violet Popov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tzocho Stankev. Tzocho Stankev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Violet Popov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladko Orozov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tzanko Beluhov hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. POPAY's Violet Popov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofan Piyanechki in the 77th minute of play. Teofan Piyanechki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Violet Popov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Teofan Piyanechki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Violet Popov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, POPAY's Trayko Kalimanov got a free kick in the 84th minute. Violet Popov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzocho Stankev in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofan Piyanechki in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Violet Popov saved POPAY from getting behind. Teofan Piyanechki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Violet Popov having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in POPAY's zone, Tzocho Stankev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Violet Popov came out of the goal and Tzocho Stankev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The POPAY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing POPAY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
