The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, TOTTNHAM HOTSPUR's Spiridon Mandzhukov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nedelcho Iskrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, CSKA Kocerinovo's Ginyo Belov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Dzivev was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Kiril Gradinarski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nedelcho Iskrev. That made the score 3-1 in the 25 minute of play. When TOTTNHAM HOTSPUR's Levent Zidarov in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CSKA Kocerinovo's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Kiril Gradinarski from a close distance when the talented Nedelcho Iskrev managed to make a qualified save. CSKA Kocerinovo's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Spiridon Mandzhukov managed to get in a good position for a shot. TOTTNHAM HOTSPUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Spiridon Mandzhukov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nedelcho Iskrev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, CSKA Kocerinovo's Nedelcho Iskrev got control of the ball when Spiridon Mandzhukov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivo Dzivev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimo Ermenkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CSKA Kocerinovo's Nedelcho Iskrev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Kocerinovo from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimcho Pútnikov made a kick off. Ivo Dzivev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ginyo Belov in the 52nd minute. Nedelcho Iskrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiril Gradinarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Dzivev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naycho Lichkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Kiril Gradinarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nedelcho Iskrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedelcho Iskrev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Zidarov in the 60th minute of the match. Ivo Dzivev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimo Ermenkov in the 62nd minute. Spiridon Mandzhukov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nedelcho Iskrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trayko Delchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Ginyo Belov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivo Dzivev. The goal made the score 3-2. Ginyo Belov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ivo Dzivev made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Zidarov in the 71st minute of play forced CSKA Kocerinovo's goalkeeper Nedelcho Iskrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CSKA Kocerinovo defense, Kiril Gradinarski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nedelcho Iskrev. The CSKA Kocerinovo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nedelcho Iskrev should have stopped the shot. After 79 minutes, Ginyo Belov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSKA Kocerinovo and the TOTTNHAM HOTSPUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes CSKA Kocerinovo got a freekick which was hit by Ginyo Belov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiril Gradinarski in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nedelcho Iskrev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Naycho Lichkov kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Kiril Gradinarski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TOTTNHAM HOTSPUR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. With a little luck, TOTTNHAM HOTSPUR's Ivo Dzivev got control of the ball when Ginyo Belov tried to sneak it across the goal line.
