The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, CSKA Rosowez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexey Pipkov to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lilko Shushulov during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, one of AC Tigers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Tigers. Pantaley Kyosev struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dragolyub Mechev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Rosowez. After a defensive mix-up in AC Tigers's zone, Pantaley Kyosev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragolyub Mechev came out of the goal and Pantaley Kyosev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CSKA Rosowez's Velko Tikov got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimcho Vekilski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Belcho Kachaunov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimcho Vekilski made a kick off. If Slavyan Gigov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes, CSKA Rosowez's Borimir Mutev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dragolyub Mechev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CSKA Rosowez reached it. AC Tigers's Dragolyub Mechev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vesko Dimiev in the 55th minute of play. Belcho Kachaunov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yanaki Perenovski in the 58th minute of play. Pantaley Kyosev struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dragolyub Mechev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Rosowez. When Vesko Dimiev came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the CSKA Rosowez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vesko Dimiev couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, one of CSKA Rosowez:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 0-2 after a penalty in the 68th minute, where AC Tigers:s Dimcho Vekilski tricked CSKA Rosowez:s Belcho Kachaunov with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for AC Tigers. Dimcho Vekilski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Belcho Kachaunov. 0-3. 80 minutes into the game, Dimcho Vekilski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Belcho Kachaunov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yanaki Perenovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yanaki Perenovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute Yanaki Perenovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belcho Kachaunov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Tigers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
