Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Bulgar Ruse's Wilson Arantes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Wilson Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bulgar Ruse's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobri Alandzhiyski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veliko Karmunchev might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dobri Alandzhiyski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Veliko Karmunchev ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Arantes in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dobri Alandzhiyski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Panitschino's Branimir Chakmakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomir Radomirski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svilen Astardzhiev hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Panitschino got a freekick which was hit by Grozdan Hadzhiangelov. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bulgar Ruse's goalkeeper Radomir Radomirski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Bulgar Ruse's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Branimir Chakmakov 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Arantes in the 22nd minute of play forced Panitschino's goalkeeper Dobri Alandzhiyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Panitschino got a freekick which was hit by Branimir Chakmakov. Dobri Alandzhiyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vanko Maevski in the 27th minute of the match. Dobri Alandzhiyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Arantes in the 31st minute of play. Dobri Alandzhiyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vanko Maevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dobri Alandzhiyski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Arne Kiempe went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branimir Chakmakov made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vanko Maevski got free with Dobri Alandzhiyski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Arantes in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dobri Alandzhiyski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatoli Gatev got free with Dobri Alandzhiyski in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radomir Radomirski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nano Bozhinov went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Dobri Alandzhiyski was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Wilson Arantes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilson Arantes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, Panitschino's goalkeeper Dobri Alandzhiyski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anatoli Gatev. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lyubcho Davitkov during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panitschino's Lyubcho Davitkov got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Wilson Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Bulgar Ruse fans jumped to their feet. In the last second Dobri Alandzhiyski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wilson Arantes in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Wilson Arantes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Dobri Alandzhiyski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Panitschino's Dobri Alandzhiyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Panitschino from getting a goal against them. Dobri Alandzhiyski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Arantes in the 89th minute. A collision led to Panitschino getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Branimir Chakmakov hit a great ball. A hard shot 95 in the game by Wilson Arantes from a close distance when the talented Dobri Alandzhiyski managed to make a qualified save. Panitschino's players were relieved. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Bulgar Ruse players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
