In the 5th match minute, Chavdaritsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Penelov to maneuver through the defense. Yani Kerezov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karamfil Kirichkov went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vancho Veselinski struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Yani Kerezov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavdaritsa. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Droplja's goalkeeper Yani Kerezov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Droplja's Yani Kerezov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karamfil Kirichkov in the 18th minute of play. Chavdaritsa's Vancho Veselinski got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, FC Droplja's Milyo Kodrov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Chankov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svetlin Penevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roman Chankov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Chankov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milyo Kodrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Svetlin Penevski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Droplja's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetlin Penevski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Chankov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Milyo Kodrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roman Chankov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Chavdaritsa got a freekick which was hit by Yordan Trizlintzev. The audience was convinced that Milyo Kodrov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Chankov was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Svetlin Penevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Milyo Kodrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Chankov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Milyo Kodrov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Chankov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Roman Chankov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetlin Penevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Milyo Kodrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yordan Trizlintzev's late challenge caught a FC Droplja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yordan Trizlintzev helped the player get up and apologised. If Svetlin Penevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Droplja's goalkeeper Yani Kerezov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vancho Veselinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Chavdaritsa's Karamfil Kirichkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yani Kerezov. Yani Kerezov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Vancho Veselinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Svetlin Penevski came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC Droplja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svetlin Penevski couldn't finish the play. Svetlin Penevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Roman Chankov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Milyo Kodrov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chavdaritsa's Roman Chankov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The FC Droplja supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chavdaritsa's performance. The match ended with a win for Chavdaritsa.
