Velcho Vuchkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vidima getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Yavor Motzev hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Krasimir Lazarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kawasaki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krasimir Lazarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kawasaki's Stiliyan Rachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todor Súrbinov in the 19th minute of play. Velcho Vuchkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Doychin Stratiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Todor Súrbinov came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Vidima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todor Súrbinov couldn't finish the play. Vidima's Doychin Stratiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velcho Vuchkov in the 34th minute of play. Tzeko Katranchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doychin Stratiev having to interfere. Stiliyan Rachev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todor Súrbinov in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Kawasaki's zone, Todor Súrbinov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stiliyan Rachev came out of the goal and Todor Súrbinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Todor Súrbinov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vidima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kawasaki the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vidima's Todor Súrbinov got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute, Argir Tihomirov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krasimir Lazarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kawasaki players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
