Antonio Serdarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Botyo Minov having to interfere. Botyo Minov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alek Zorovski went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mincho Gerdzhikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Branimir Bachorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Zhilentsi's goal looked a bit too open when Alek Zorovski came free, but Botyo Minov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, CSKA Voditsite's Alek Zorovski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Botyo Minov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The CSKA Voditsite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branimir Bachorski should have stopped the shot. Branimir Bachorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mincho Gerdzhikov in the 60th minute of play. When Zhilentsi's Mincho Gerdzhikov, in the 62nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zhilentsi. In the 65th minute, Avgust Shiyankov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mincho Gerdzhikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Branimir Bachorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Zhilentsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitko Kazakov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CSKA Voditsite getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Antonio Serdarov hit a great ball. Avgust Shiyankov might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branimir Bachorski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Avgust Shiyankov ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Zhilentsi's goalkeeper Botyo Minov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Serdarov. The CSKA Voditsite supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSKA Voditsite would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
