Alexandyr's Nedko Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spiro Babov in the 18th minute of play. Simo Karadimitrov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mihail Ushagelov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandyr's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Ushagelov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avgust Durev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simo Karadimitrov succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Lozan Barbutski took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nedko Marin. Nedko Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Nedko Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lozan Barbutski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gavril Predoev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedko Marin having to interfere. Lozan Barbutski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nedko Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Ushagelov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Avgust Durev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alexandyr players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
