The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tzvyatko Barenski to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Akhtebol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bratan Poptodorov was slow to take the kick. During this time CSKA Troyanovo's players had a chance to rest. CSKA Troyanovo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rafail Raynov struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nedko Mandrazhiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Akhtebol. In the 68th minute Tzvyatko Barenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencho Cholchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSKA Troyanovo's Nedko Mandrazhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Raynov in the 74th minute of play. FC Akhtebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tzvyatko Barenski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tzeno Nikitov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Rafail Raynov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CSKA Troyanovo fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Akhtebol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
