Sava Pishlyakov kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Zhan Boykikev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nesho Chonev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Zhan Boykikev struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Nesho Chonev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC.SOKOLITE VARNA 1987. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gencho Drashanski during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Gencho Drashanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Orlin Zerinov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC.SOKOLITE VARNA 1987's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlin Zerinov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nesho Chonev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC.SOKOLITE VARNA 1987's Tzvetomir Vutev got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Anton Blangev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kljutsdewo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 30 played minutes FC Kljutsdewo got a freekick which was hit by Branimir Chupetlovski. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kljutsdewo's goalkeeper Nesho Chonev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC.SOKOLITE VARNA 1987's Stiliyan Benishev got a free kick in the 37th minute. Pavlin Yarlovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traycho Kolibarski having to interfere. After 43 played minutes FC.SOKOLITE VARNA 1987 got a freekick which was hit by Svetlin Bikov. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavlin Yarlovski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tzvetomir Vutev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nesho Chonev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naycho Tzanchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Branimir Chupetlovski during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Branimir Chupetlovski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Traycho Kolibarski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Stiliyan Benishev hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tzvetomir Vutev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nesho Chonev having to make a save.
