Gancho Madev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stayko Kaftandzhiev having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Slavey Grupchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gancho Madev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dilyan Shukerov struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Kristiyan Banov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silimonya. Gancho Dikanchev scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stayko Kaftandzhiev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gancho Madev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stayko Kaftandzhiev having to interfere. Gancho Madev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Соколите-Чирпан's zone, Dilyan Shukerov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristiyan Banov came out of the goal and Dilyan Shukerov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ФК Соколите-Чирпан's Kristiyan Banov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Encho Kulev in the 51st minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, ФК Соколите-Чирпан's goal looked a bit too open when Dilyan Shukerov came free, but Kristiyan Banov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Encho Kulev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes ФК Соколите-Чирпан got a freekick which was hit by Velin Saradzhov. Velin Saradzhov kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Encho Kulev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, ФК Соколите-Чирпан was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gancho Madev to maneuver through the defense. Dilyan Shukerov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kristiyan Banov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gancho Madev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stayko Kaftandzhiev having to interfere. Silimonya's Stayko Kaftandzhiev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Silimonya from getting a goal against them. Gancho Madev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gancho Madev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stayko Kaftandzhiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Gancho Madev came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the ФК Соколите-Чирпан fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gancho Madev couldn't finish the play. After 90 played minutes Silimonya got a freekick which was hit by Slavey Grupchev.
