FC Asteroid's Yanek Dzhumayski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosen Kamarski in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, FC Asteroid's goal looked a bit too open when Rosen Kamarski came free, but Yanek Dzhumayski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54thth minute of the game Spas Sholev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toptschiisko's Rayko Kúrlev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Spas Sholev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Asteroid's supporters rose to their feet, but Spas Sholev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rayko Kúrlev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denislav Mingolov kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Spas Sholev in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rayko Kúrlev saved Toptschiisko from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Toptschiisko's Alek Babulkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yanek Dzhumayski. Yanek Dzhumayski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 82 minutes into the game, Naum Fandúkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Asteroid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toptschiisko the free kick. In the 89th minute Rashko Damyanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rayko Kúrlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Asteroid's Spas Sholev in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
