In the 5th minute, Radoy Arizanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mechi Geran booed when Dragotintsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzanyo Gladnishki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brunko Shtúrkelov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Encho Kutinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Encho Kutinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoy Arizanov in the 17th minute of the match. Slaveyko Shantov hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Brunko Shtúrkelov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anko Gladnishki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Karanov in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Dragotintsi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Volodya Maev hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Radoy Arizanov made a precise shot to the right of Encho Kutinov. Dragotintsi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brunko Shtúrkelov in the 36th minute of play forced Dragotintsi's goalkeeper Encho Kutinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Radoy Arizanov sped through Dragotintsi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Encho Kutinov. Encho Kutinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brunko Shtúrkelov, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A collision led to Dragotintsi getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Goran Denin hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nikolay Karanov made the kick off in the second half. Bozhidar Kerkenyakov charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bozhidar Kerkenyakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Mechi Geran got a freekick which was hit by Bozhidar Kerkenyakov. After a defensive mix-up in Dragotintsi's zone, Brunko Shtúrkelov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Encho Kutinov came out of the goal and Brunko Shtúrkelov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Goran Denin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volodya Maev charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Volodya Maev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Dragotintsi's Encho Kutinov got control of the ball when Brunko Shtúrkelov tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Brunko Shtúrkelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Dragotintsi got a freekick which was hit by Vasko Glavanakov. Dragotintsi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Brunko Shtúrkelov scored to the left of an out of position Encho Kutinov, making the score, 0-4. When Nikolay Karanov came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Dragotintsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikolay Karanov couldn't finish the play. Brunko Shtúrkelov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Encho Kutinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Brunko Pangelov sped through Mechi Geran's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anko Gladnishki. If Radoy Arizanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Brunko Shtúrkelov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mechi Geran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brunko Shtúrkelov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Mechi Geran could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dragotintsi throughout the match.
