Konevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Sarnevo the free kick. Tzanko Krumov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Ilko Zahúnov had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Hristo Ahtardzhiev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Sarnevo's Ilko Okov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilko Zahúnov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ilko Okov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dido Grigoriev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ilko Zahúnov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dido Grigoriev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilko Zahúnov having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stiliyan Burdin was the one to do the kick off. In the 74th minute, Dido Grigoriev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilko Zahúnov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Dido Grigoriev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ilko Zahúnov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilko Okov scored 3-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilko Zahúnov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Konevo's Gavril Kúrtev got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Karamfil Kerelski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
