FC Qarabağ's Spas Nasev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC Qarabağ from getting a goal against them. Velcho Marchevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Ivaylo Gerenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalin Kerinski, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. A nice corner shot did that Yoan Radevski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Spas Nasev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Krasimir Gyuzelev kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot 42 in the game by Evgeni Karlov from a close distance when the talented Spas Nasev managed to make a qualified save. FC Qarabağ's players were relieved. Spas Nasev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stiliyan Lanzhev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stiliyan Lanzhev to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evgeni Karlov in the 69th minute of play forced FC Qarabağ's goalkeeper Spas Nasev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Gaytandzhiev during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Qarabağ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Filip Gaytandzhiev hit a great ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wracanci reached it.
