Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rashko Kapitanov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kubrat Zehirev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Deynov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes in the game, Biser Vatzev fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kubrat Zehirev having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Nencho Nikovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tsarkva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК Светкавица the free kick. The supporters of ФК Светкавица booed when Tsarkva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nencho Nikovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Zegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doychin Tzalov in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhecho Deliyski in the 17th minute of play forced Tsarkva's goalkeeper Anton Zegov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, ФК Светкавица's Rashko Kapitanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Zegov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Tsarkva booed when ФК Светкавица was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rashko Kapitanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Biser Vatzev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kubrat Zehirev. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. If Zhecho Deliyski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match, Biser Vatzev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kubrat Zehirev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ventzislav Krondev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubrat Zehirev having to interfere. Ventzislav Krondev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biser Vatzev struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kubrat Zehirev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tsarkva. If Ventzislav Krondev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Biser Vatzev to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tsarkva's zone, Rashko Kapitanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Zegov came out of the goal and Rashko Kapitanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rashko Kapitanov struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Anton Zegov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ФК Светкавица. Anton Zegov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Rashko Kapitanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anton Zegov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match Tsarkva got a corner. ФК Светкавица's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Poshtakov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emil Poshtakov made a great header on Tsarkva's corner, it was just that ФК Светкавица's Kubrat Zehirev managed to reach the ball for a save. Tomislav Yonevski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Zegov firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rashko Kapitanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Zegov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
