The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Rusalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toma Buchukov to maneuver through the defense. Pancho Paslandzhiyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pancho Paslandzhiyski in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rashko Dyukmedzhiev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Butanik06's Anko Kanin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Butanik06 from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Branimir Rabakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anko Kanin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Pavel Trenchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Butanik06's Pancho Paslandzhiyski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rashko Dyukmedzhiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 44th minute, Botyo Patarinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Milyo Badzhakov came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Rusalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milyo Badzhakov couldn't finish the play. Anko Kanin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branimir Rabakov in the 54th minute of the match. Anko Kanin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branimir Rabakov in the 57th minute of play. Branimir Rabakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branimir Rabakov in the 61st minute of play forced Butanik06's goalkeeper Anko Kanin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branimir Rabakov might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anko Kanin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Branimir Rabakov ran back to his position shaking his head. When Botyo Patarinski came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Butanik06 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Botyo Patarinski couldn't finish the play. Branimir Rabakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anko Kanin having to interfere. Butanik06's Anko Kanin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branimir Rabakov in the 74th minute of play. If Botyo Patarinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
